Featured Start-ups

This blog is dedicated to start-ups I plan to keep a close eye on in the next year or so. The criteria I use to determine which start-ups get selected are those I feel are fully-capable of bringing in a yearly six figure income. These websites are fully-functional, have a visually stunning layout, demonstrate a clean, simple, and modern interface, and are effectively monetized.

Elevator Pitch: Twitter for Diaries. Histofme is a micro-diary service where users can write their memories up to 400 charachters and create the chronologies of their life.

Founder: Oguz Furkan Kaytanci

Description: Basicly it works like twitter, users may follow each other, and like on
facebook, they can like and comment on posts.

Users should choose a tag (relationship, personal, travel, education, career...
etc) and a date for their memory after they write it. Additionally one
photograph may be added to memory.
When user needs some privacy with their memory, they can use 'keep it secret'
feature thus this memory will be only visible to it's writer.

Histofme users can link their facebook and twitter accounts to their histofme
accounts, when they desire their memory will be shared on facebook and twitter
with a short link to their post.

Each user gets a profile as and on this profiles people
can browse between memories acording to dates and tags provided while writing
memories thus unlike on facebook and twitter, posts on histofme will not get
lost. Users will be able to read and browse them on their profile.

While it is usefull for people to record the milestones of their life, it can be
also used to share their firsts and milestones of the companies.

iOS app can be downloaded at

Android app can be downloaded at

Why it's Unique: Histofme will help people to record and share the milestones and best memories
of their life. No discussion that diaries are always helpful for people, but
also it's hard to keep going on with writing memories. Histofme makes it totaly
easier with it's website and apps.

It's the perfect place when people wants to share their feelings and also when
they want privacy. Because it is social and private at the same time.
